The intent of this area is to assist those interested in actually doing something about this situation. In some cases the materials, resources and skills exist elsewhere. Others require augmentation. The Internet offers a unique opportunity to frame these materials and allow participants independent action as they engage their respective communities and groups.
"How To Talk To A Climate Skeptic" is a blog published by the Grist Mill and is a great compilation of talking points. These can help anyone who is preparing to get in front of audiences at any level. We encourage everyone to become familiar with these talking points.
Ultimately we want to post materials available for download. However, that will require modification of this site to support and the staff necessary to support those functions. Resources we currently do not have. Materials will have to be reviewed for appropriateness. Scanned to assure integrity for security and safety purposes. Then we will place the materials into compressed packages for download. Each package will contain the actual materials, recommendations and requirements as appropriate to that particular package.
Where resources already exist, our intent is to provide direct links out on the Internet. Our approach to "links" is to make them an intrinsic part of a given issue in the main design of the web site.
