HHO gas is also called "Brown's Gas" after Yull Brown, a Bulgarian-American inventor. Mr. Brown passed away Friday, May 22nd, 1998. The gas is a mixture of oxygen and hydrogen produced through a process similar to electrolysis. These Hydrogen-Oxygen Generators are primarily used today in the welding industry. Dr. William Rhodes also worked in this area in the 1960's. Others are George Wiseman and Todd Knudtson. Also see the patents below filed by Mr. Stanley Meyer.
Stanley Meyer's technologies use digital resonance to disassociate molecular water into its constituent elements. No electrolyte is used. Just water and the device. H2Orbit believes that this new application of digital resonance will revolutionize the global economy and significantly assist us all in implementing the strategic vision.

H2Orbit is interested in HHO production because we believe that energy used to produce the gas can be consolidated to green generation facilities. CO2 production is completely eliminated and the production of NO2 is reduced significantly, according the the reports we have read. The gas can be generated on demand and can be consumed in existing engines. That consumption however is not without tradeoffs on longevity of the mechanics. (We suspect.) We need to remember that most engines today use iron and steels in their combustion chambers. Those surfaces would now be exposed to high temperatures and corrosive environments. Now if those same surfaces were made out of modern ceramics - those problems are eliminated.
WARNING: OXY-HYDROGEN GAS IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH THE SAME DILIGENCE AS ANY OTHER VOLATILE SUBSTANCE.
While the gas can power torches and combustion engines of various sort we need to remember that the source of the energy was the electricity that produced the gas - not the gas itself.
HHO gas will combust - and does return to water. That all by itself would mean that an internal combustion engine would need to be designed out of corrosion resistant materials to maximize utilization of this fuel. High temperatures mixed with high oxygen and water environments tend to make corrosive environments.
Mr. Patrick Kelly's document "Run a car on water". (We're amazed at the number of people who can't find this document on their own.) We suggest you save a copy of this document on your computer before some entrenched pundit manages to get it removed from the Internet. Fast.
"What is an electrolyzer" is another good document of Patrick's. We suggest you save a copy of this one on your system for all the same reasons.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is our primary research tool. Patents on file (e.g. granted) are on file there and open to the public for reference.

USPTO 6,673,322 Apparatus for making a novel, highly efficient, nonpollutant, oxygen rich and cost competitive combustible gas and associated method

Here's a novel idea. Demand to know why your favorite manufacturer is not leveraging these patents and / or some of the patents listed on our 'Links' pages. Don't think they will respond to your letter? Then take a look at our "Influencing Business" page. They > must < answer your letter if you also happen to be a stockholder....
All the physicists and engineers out there who say this won't work need to watch the videos and then go re-think their math and explain to the rest of us what we can all obviously see. The evidence is in. It does work. Watch it yourself. If after that you still don't believe it then go out and build one. Watch it up close and personal. You should be able to find the necessary informational resources off of this page to build your own. We think there is huge opportunity here to get some businesses going.
All you skeptics that say "if it works why aren't they doing it". H2Orbit's answer to that is money doesn't motivate us and it's not our mission. Our mission is getting society to understand and execute the strategy to achieve the H2Orbit vision.
Having said that, if you want to get our attention - make a donation to support the organization. That kind of money does motivate us. (We may be dumb but we're not stupid.)
HHO is fraught with misunderstandings and misrepresentations. So we will dispel as many myths as we can.
Was there a TV Show in the U.S. discussing HHO? YES - that show was "The Mythbusters". They declared using HHO as myth 'busted' in (not sure) maybe episode 53.
Hydrogen Technology Applications, Inc. has a running automobile demonstration platform they use to show clients and interested parties. So the technology does work - despite the mythbusters' conclusion
Jamie & Adam also concluded its dangerous to fool around with and we agree.
The "reason" most cars are being configured as 'hybrids' is because using pure HHO raises the combustion temperatures significantly requiring key engine components to be either coated or made out of ceramics. Otherwise you will probably damage the engine.
Lest you need more evidence check out the mounting video evidence collecting out on "youtube": HHO Youtube Search
The part about using the HHO gas to augment the existing fuel of the engine, from what we have read is to help keep temperatures higher so the water vapor stays vapor longer (in theory) to delay the corrosive action of water in the engine components.
One also needs to be able to generate enough electrical energy to drive the electrolyzer in the design.
They did not mention the fact that even if you can get it to work in an old car - you probably don't really want to do that except for proof of concept demonstrations. Why? Because the car's engine is made out of steel and you are creating a highly corrosive environment inside the combustion chambers. It probably wont' last very long. Having said that we have also seen claims of engines running 8 hours a day for years with no corrosion at all. We read that on the Internet so.... healthy skepticism needs to be turned on here.
Coating the engine parts to form non-corrosive barriers will be important. There are companies specializing in this. Engine Ceramics for example.
Fuel Injected engines will need some conversion in their fuel injection systems to handle the gas instead of liquid. Some modern control system can easily make the change. Older systems need more attention.
The Hydrogen, Oxygen gas mixture burns much faster than gasoline vapor. The timing will as a result most likely require adjustment, depending on an array of factors. Percentage of gas used for combustion, age of the engine design, etc.
