There is so much we can do in the realm of education around the world. The situation, issues, challenges and solutions outlined on this site should make it clear that education, at all levels, needs to be a higher global priority.
The solutions will require decades to implement, improve, maintain, and sustain. It is critical that we have an enduring educational system so our children understand the situation and the role they will play into the future. Education should be a hands on process and demonstrate, in the real world, how students, at all levels, can participate.
Education isn't just in the classroom and it isn't all formal or accredited. There are many different levels of education and on a variety of topics. All will play a role in helping to increase awareness and capability to understand the complex issues at hand. Not to mention what to do about them.
Education needs to be fun. It needs to inspire the mind. It needs to excite the creative in us all. And it needs to lead to action. It needs to not only show the way out of poverty but how we can build a better life for all life on our planet. We need a society of doers.
