The starting gun fired somewhere back at the beginning of the industrial revolution.  We are in a race.  A race for our own future.  Losing is not an option.  Our destiny is of our own design and choosing.

If you have never thought about the details of Global Warming, how to solve that problem, If that IS a problem, implications, why coral reefs around the world are dying (or already dead), then this web site might just be a complete shock to you.  Almost every nation on our world recognizes this situation.  While there are several high level groups working various issues, the problem demands more wide spread awareness and adoption by the general public if the solutions are to be effective.

There are scads of information resources out on the network that are about the science pro or con on these issues.  This site is about solutions.  Any focus on solutions must necessarily also focus on the situation, issues and challenges if the strategic resolution is to make any sense at all.  Problem determination is a process piece of solving any problem.   Without it, the reach and range of any proposed solution runs the risk of being too little too late or considerable overkill and wasteful.   Some will view this site as overkill.  However, we are confident that the longer they study the problem and understand its enduring systemic magnitude that they will come to the same conclusions we did.  The science is behind our recommended strategic direction.

With a clear strategic vision together humanity can see tangible evidence of obtaining those goals.  They can measure on their own any progress made.   Progress will drive hope and the freedom to pursue innovative and entrepreneurial endeavors to aid success.   General George S. Patton once said: "Never tell someone how to do something.  Tell them what needs doing and they will surprise you with their innovation."   H2Orbit is about what needs doing.   Please help us get everyone to engage and get it done.

H2Orbit - It's About Sustainability.

This web site is dedicated to helping spread awareness of the situation, outline the issues, briefly describe the challenges and propose solutions.  The organization seeks to facilitate programs, awareness campaigns, education, initiatives, facilitation, and specific engagements.  We need to drive participation through volunteer work, personal action, sponsorships, and to recognize donations and donors, necessary to help us all solve this situation.  We want to provide perspectives from as many vantage points as practical and offer a reference library and bibliography, to help you be better prepared. 

What we find infinitely interesting in all of this is that the solution is:

• something that will test every individual's character by the free will they exercise
  
• something that will require faith in others
• something that will require trust that spans generations, education, ideologies, cultures, religion, and national boundaries.
• will require unprecedented teamwork and cooperation from everyone, everywhere
• will require patience, persistence and perseverance from every individual
• will require wealthy nations to support poor nations, yet all will benefit
• something that every person regardless of who they are or where they are can do in order to help.  Small or large every little bit helps.
• something that potentially entrenched wealthy will have to recognize the situation, potentially sacrifice all they have achieved and help
• something that requires each individual to be respected
• something that demands a pursuit of excellance
• ironically physically situated in a place that forces us to see the whole of the planet we are trying to fix
• and through this all, requires society to be driven in attaining the common strategic vision

So our rhetorical question is do we (collective we) have the character necessary to see this through?   H2Orbit thinks so & that's why we're here.

Our founder wrote a strategic proposal and submitted it to the administration of the United States government in 2006.  The text of this speech is available FREE from the Bibliography here on H2Orbit.  We have received many requests to also make it available paperback for reference purposes and we have published it as: "One Pilgrim's Wish for Earth".  We strongly encourage everyone to get their own paperback copy.  While it seems that the Internet forever holds information forever - it does not do so for average people.  The Internet only holds information forever for those with access to the information forever and even then only as long as their access is active.  Paperback books penetrate that veil of access.  While we also encourage sharing of the PDF file - nothing persists like paper. 

We also strongly encourage people to get a copy of the paperback book, sign their own note of support for the plan and mail it to Washington D.C. to those you feel need to have their horizons widened.   These times are critical and strategic choice is more important than ever.  Cap & Trade alone will cripple the global economy beyond an ability to regain financial stability required to implement a real solution.  We must take a balanced, methodological mired in science and coupled to the global economy and real jobs for real people in our approach to resolving these issues.

We think this strategic vision and plan will solve the current crisis being caused by Climate Change.  Only political will of the constituencies stand in the way of success.

Also notice that H2Orbit makes a practice of using external references as much as possible in making points.  We believe this enhances the effectiveness of the communications and encourages participation.
